sorry mate, doesn't matter when you bought them because you have a fake on your hands. Dreambox never shipped with a black remote.

If this is a replacement 3rd party remote () just send a picture of the mac address on the box and from the screen and we can confirm either way.

And don't look just for the remote and mac address (which can be easily changed)... The best way to check if a dm500s is a clone or original is by checking the following components inside the dream, click in the picture:

About the black remote... you are wrong.... Dream-multimedia did shipped dm500s with black remote, in fact they had 2 different black remotes, the grey one is just the latest "generation" of the remote... I have the second...

It works fine with any gemini image btw...

Would you prefer to buy a box that never was opened or one that was opened already? And then after I open and take photos you will probably say that the photos are not from my box... or maybe edited in photoshop ?! ... lol...

For the people who are in sat for long time, knows that the photos about the comparison of clone and original that I uploaded here, were avaiable also in the dream-multimedia oficial website (until they left supporting dm500).

They will also know that the hologram was shiped in the last units that were made, when the clones began to exist...

But here is the deal, someone is looking for a original DM500, I have one to sell ORIGINAL, I uploaded photos from it, if you don't know the difference between the clone DM500S and the original then you probably won't give a nice use for the original DM500S...
