Re: For Sale : Sky and Sky+ boxes

Hi Mark,

are these still available, I am very interested in the Sky+ Box as one of ours has died. Does it come with all of the orignal packaging, remote control, cables, viewing card etc?

Re: For Sale : Sky and Sky+ boxes

sorry for the slow reply guys, been moving house hence the boxes for sale, and its been a bit hectic.

All accessories are with it, the box has just turned 12months old and i havent had any problems with it.

I'm not sure how viewing cards work, our contract has expired so i assume the viewing card won't work anymore? if it still gives access to the basic channels then i can leave it in no problems. As far as i am aware you would just need to ring sky and get your card synched to the new box for it to work?

With regards to getting the sky+ fucntionality, you need two feeds from the dish to watch and record two programmes simultaneously, but i believe it works fine with one feed for recording and the anytime stuff but not for two things at once. The sky+ service is now free, so i assume all you would need to do is tell sky you have upgraded the box.

As i took so long replying, i'll let darthballs reply, and if he doesnt want it, it goes to djayyy.

Thanks

Mark
