Samsung NC20 12.1" Netbook - one of the best netbooks on the market at the moment, shame I got mine a month before Amazon dropped their price by £59!

I'd highly recommend the Samsung NC20 to anyone looking for a compact netbook that is robust and reliable (don't even think about a Dell). Seems like a lot of other users agree on Amazon - one of the highest ratings for a netbook out there.

However, beware that it has window xp on it.

Would one of these be ok for word processing the girlfriend wants a new laptop for word processing. How would it compare speed wise to a 1.7 celleron from about 5 years ago. I have no concept of processor speeds when it comes to laptops but am aware via processors have always been very slow
