20% off ALL (under €500) at Logitech.com in October

Just got a tip from an insider that, to celebrate the launch of the new Logitech website, existing customers will get 20% off all purchases through the Logitech Store!

Details:
-Offer runs until 31st October 23:59
-Offer is valid on purchases up to €500
-You are required to re-activate your account on the new site
-You need to enter SITESAVINGS0909 at checkout

I am not entirely sure whether completely new customers will be eligible. I would think so, but even if they aren't, I figure there is a workaround for that: Create a new account before 1st October, and re-activate it in October

Did I miss the boat? I tried to put the code in it shows

The promotion code you used is invalid. If you have been given a 9-digit promotion code, please re-enter the code and add a zero at the end. For example, if you were given code 123456789, use 1234567890 in its place.

SO this code no good for new customers?
