Firstly how is the aerial connected to the TV and HXD i.e is the aerial fed to the HXD and from the HXD to the TV or are you using a splitter or ?
When film 4 is on the TV are all MUX D channels there and are they all missing when you cannot get film 4 either by the HXD or the TV?
I think however that probably your MuxD reception is borderline like it is for me particularly in certain weather conditions and it is dropping in and out. This happens less on the TV which may have a slightly more sensitive tuner than the HXD. Although I have found that in these circumstances even swapping the leads from wallplate to HXD and HXD to TV can make one appear better than the other. in receiving MuxD
