Converting NTSC VHS to DVD...

Hi all,

I've got a lot of NTSC VHS tapes I need to convert to DVD...

My 'multi-region' Panasonic NV-HD750AM VCR can output a pure NTSC 3.58 signal.

Am I right in thinking most DVD recorders will record this signal to NTSC DVD without any distortion/colour loss etc?

I was thinking of getting the Panasonic DMR-EZ27EB-K:

http://www.panasonic.co.uk/dvd-recor...27eb/index.htm

Would this do the job?

Any other suggestions for a suitable black DVD recorder with freeview tuner would be much appreciated...

Thanks for your help!

Daniel

Yes, you are right. Unless the original tapes have Macrovision copy protection (only likely on commercial tapes). Recorders will not, typically, record anything that carries Macrovision. (And, please, don't ask about ways around this, thanks).
