Pioneer DVR-440HX-S missing channels

I've had a Pioneer DVR-440HX-S for about a year or more now and its been great, but one thing is increasingly annoying me is the EPG still thinks I can get Men & Motors after being replaced by ITV2 or something b$^£dy ages ago!
I've done all the usual resetting and adding new channels but it still remains, the EPG shows the logo of MM and all its programs listed, its updated Virgin 1 ok, although no Dave yet (What the f^@k is Dave?! another thread in itself I'm sure)
Is there some miracle cure for my DVR-440HX-S, is the host channel (found automatically) wrong?
Please help.

got me nowhere fast

Re: Pioneer DVR-440HX-S missing channels

Digital tuners are notorious for this kind of problem... and usually when it happens the only way to make progress is to completely empty the stored channels before rescanning for new.

I don't know the Pioneer software... but I presume it will have a 'reset to factory condition' or some such... which should empty the stored tunings.

Good luck.
