DVD Recorder Inputs

Hi,

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there a DVD Recorder that has component inputs? All i can find for the moment if just Composite and Scart. The main reason will be for recording off SKY HD.

You cannot record HD quality from your HD box on a domestic DVD recorder. Best option is to go for a dvd recorder model that offers RGB in via scart, and then loop the HD box via the recorder so you can record the RGB feed from the box :

HD Box TV OUT (RGB Scart) ->
DVD recorder LINE IN (RGB scart) ->
DVD Recorder TV OUT (RGB Scart) ->
TV RGB Scart in

You still watch HD channels & "live" box stuff via the HDMI/Component inputs as you do currently, switching to the DVD recorder to wtach stuff recorded on that.
