Philips DVDR610 problems

On my TV i've got the 610 connected to AV1 and Sky+ connected via the 610. When im watching Sky, the 610 will suddenly switch itself on which causes my TV to automatically switch to it. It's REALLY annoying. I've tried having sky on AV1 and 610 on AV2 to seperate them but it still happens. Have also got the latest firmware.

Any help appreciated as it's really starting to irritate me....

Are you sure you have the latest firmware? This known problem was supposed to be cured.

100% Sure, yes. Just double checked. Obviously they haven't fixed it as well as they thought. To be honest it's better than it was before the firmware upgrade but it does still happen quite frequently.
