Where's the cheapest you can buy Non-Cartridge DVD-RAM Discs?

Bar eBay of course.

The best I can find is £15 for 10 from svp.co.uk

gotta say Costco. IIRC cheaper even than svp. Panny branded - and no postage.

Thanks Drambo but that's more expensive than SVP. Although the SVP discs aren't Panasonic.

Steve do you mean: http://www.costco.co.uk/ ?

I ask as you can't seem to buy online and they charge a membership fee (***) + they are opened to the public so it's a moot point. Thanks btw.

yep thats the badger.
You can join if you have your own company/business or if you are in a listed set of 'professions'
if you know a member they can get them for you of course.
If you have one near you its worth popping in - even if you can't join someone shopping there could pick up a few for you.
what county are you in/what is your nearest costco ?

big list of trades/professions listed inside Costco. won't even try to recall them.
Just had a trip to my local one (Watford, sorry..) and had a look at the Ram disks.
12.32 gbp per pack of 10.
If you are passing your local one drop in for a look around. they do all kindsa AV stuff as well as your usual stuff.

Costco individual membership is £25 +VAT, there is one in Bristol IIRC, bargins can be found there but some things cost more than at Sainsburys. It is not that difficult to get membership providing you have a letterhead or from a company they recognise and have the relevant proof. Been a member for some years but not convinced its worth it.

I bought those green labeled DVD RAM disks from SVP, and they've been working fine so far. Only used 3 out of the 10 (hey - they're re-writable!) and writen to each about 40 times without any problems.

I have a DMR-EH50

Thanks guys.

I prefer the look of the other ones. Green DVDs = yuck!

p.s - Pilotsnipes what speed are they? It doesn't say on SVP.

There is nothing at all the matter with the SVP DVD-RAM discs. They are virtually the same as the Panasonics and cheaper. Plus they have two different makes both in spindles of 10 and priced at £14-99. All DVD-RAM discs are the same brownish spiral finished on the recording face. The light green cover on the SVP discs is quite attractive.

Ebuyer also have Memorex DVD-RAM discs in DVD-cases. £7 for a pack of five plus postage.
