HDD to Disc Transfer

I work in an AV specialists and one of my potential customers has asked a question someone here may be able to answer.

With the Panasonic DMR-EH50, can you record something on the HDD, then transfer it onto a blank disc?

Simple question, I think the answer is 'YES', but I just need confirmation.

Cheers.

Yes. The basic idea is you can record to the HDD using whichever recording mode (quality) you want to archive in and then edit the clip as required. You can then dub (losslessly) to DVD-R.

You can also re-encode but this (obviously) involves creating a second generation copy.
