Panasonic DMRE65EBS v DMRE55

how much better is the 65? worth digging a bit more into my pockets for?

also, does anyone know if the 'EBS' is applicable will all models or are theri different suffixes available???

I don't believe there is any difference in quality of the recorder.
The difference is in connectivity: the 65 has DV in (useful if you have a Digital camcorder), it also has a SD card slot, useful if you have a digital camera.
The EBS (on both models) is part of the full model name of the UK model.

The E65 also has a Divide function (E55 can only do this via Playlists), LPCM recording and JPEG compatibility (on DVD-RAM or PC/SD Card slots).
