XS32 - what version of software does yours have?
Hi,
I was wondering if Tosh have been updating the software that runs the XS32 since it's launch, to improve things like disc compatibility, better recording quality and such like.
My Tosh has the following software installed:
Software version: ZL10
DVD Drive Software: 1309
I bought the machine sometime around mid-June.
Would other owners mind posting what software they have and when they bought their machines?
Many thanks,
Matthew

It looks like they must update it every so often. I bought mikne two weeks ago and it has the following :
Software version: ZL11
DVD Drive Software: 1414
Having said that, maybe it's because I bought a multiregion one, I'm not sure.

I just ordered mine the other day (from RGB) and they told me the stock was new from Toshiba on 29/11/2004 so as soon as it comes I'll post back with the versions.

Do Toshiba actually issue any firmware/software upgrades? I just tried to register my recorder, but the registration service was down.

I believe they made a subtle change to the STB IR blaster signal timing in ZL11.

Mine was bought about a month ago, wasn't multiregion, and does have the same version above for the software, can't recall the DVD off the top of my head.

Where abouts does it give details of the version on the unit, i.e. if I was to buy now is it possible to ask the seller.
Thanks,
Martin

It is under Management Settings in the setup screens. The seller would have to take it out of the box and connect it up to tell for sure.
