Panasonic DMR-E60 and Remote Code

My sister recently bought the said unit and accidentally change the remote code on the unit to dvd 2. Now the remote ceases to work. when i press any button on the remote, the unit displays "REMOTE DVD 2". can't even acess the setup to change it back. the manual does'nt help either.

any help would be appreciated.

Use the front panel to access 'Functions' and then goto 'Setup', 'Settings' and then switch 'Remote' to "DVD1". If the handset itself has been reset to DVD2 you have to do something along the lines of press 'Enter' and then '1' - it is explained somewhere in the manual.

As Rasczak says just press enter and hold 1,2 or 3 to alter the remote to match the unit, note you have to hold for at least 2 seconds or it doesn't work.
