Advice from 2900 owners for a happy 2900 user

Hi

I appear to be the rare beast. A happy Denon 2900 owner.

Great machine. Fantastic pictures, and SACD playback (with the right producer)........ WOW!

But, before I pester my dealer on a small matter (he has spent a lot of time helping chose the right player)

Do you use the gamma correction? Have you found it useful and under what circumstances?

and the Denon manual seems to be a bit woolly on the use of the "filter" setting. Best switched on or off?

Karma, turn the setting on, watch something! turn it off then watch it again. which looks best? - well then thats the setting you want - do what you think is best based on what you see and hear.
