Lightbulb Pioneer DV-610 with Panasonic TH50PZ80B

Hello,
Could someone clarify to me which video settings are best for the combo above?
Should i leave the Pioneer DV 610 upscalling to 1080p or my TV does a better job?
Appreciate your help to get the best out of the system.
Regards,
Rod

Re: Pioneer DV-610 with Panasonic TH50PZ80B

Hi you have to upscale at the dvd player so that your tv can pick up the 1080 signal. To enjoy the 1080, you must switch the tv setting to 1080 (or auto mode, if available). Also take note that most dvd players on upscaling need a HDMI cable to transfer the signal to your tv or projector.

Enjoy your movie and have a nice day.

If the 610's menus are like my DV400's, go into the setup menu on the DVD player, then video settings, then screen resolution and experiment between the settings for the picture you like best. No hard and fast rules here. You must use a HDMI cable as already stated..Cheers.
