Divx DVD players and HD
I have a sumvision dvd player with usb port. It upscales standard def dvds over HDMI, but i was wondering whether this (or any other model) can play HD divx.
I also have a 360 i could play divx on too, but its a bit noisy.
Ive bought an HD projector but it hasnt arrived yet or i might have a better chance of figuring it out myself!
Cheers

Re: Divx DVD players and HD
Hi,
99% of upscaling players wont play HD DivX. Although there are a few, at a price, that will.

The 360 will play HD DivX.

Re: Divx DVD players and HD
I had one. Picture was very nice. The menu's are very basic, very few options but the player seems to do a good job with the picture.
Sold mine partly down to me not reading the manual properly and the lack of Multi Region hack.
If one became available I would have no qualms about getting another.
They do look like flashy. And have substance.

Re: Divx DVD players and HD
I didnt read the small print regarding changing the Video ouput from PAL to NTSC. From what I can see the player does not have an AUTO select feature.
I'm afraid I have not seen any Multi Region players yet. If you do though like I said it's a great looking and very good performance player.

LG DVS450H region code
Found this regarding Multi Region playback but use at your own risk
