Sony 930 Multiregion

Is it true this can be made mutiregion with a remote control. If so does anyone know how? I've done a quick web search and found a company who will send you a remote control to do it, then you send it back to them.

Cheers

Dave

Yes but it's a very long code, not very easy.

Thanks for your reply. Would you be prepared to list the technique here? Can the code be entered with a Pronto remote? Hopefully I will buy this multiregion, but my local supplier doesn't do them I think. They are checking!!

Cheers

If your local dealer can make other Sony's multiregion, then they should be able to make the 930 multiregion as it is the same code. Search the forum the code has been posted many times before.

Thanks I did find it on www.dvdrhelp.com and I didn't search this forum...DOH!!

I was about to order a Denon 2900, but I think I'm going to get one of these for now and upgrade next year when Denon's release their silver range (or I find a recorder I like!)

Cheers
