Which dvd player to replace PS3 and LG BH200?

I have the above for sd dvd duties however the LG is very annoyingly slow to use and the PS3 has an awful sd dvd pq.

Can anyone suggest a player that would be better for sd dvds?

Hi the oppo 971 is now going for £115 at CTR about the best player for the price,and multi region
