Arrow Region Free DVD Players

Hi Guys anyone know what is a good reasonably priced region free DVD player purchasable in the uk?

ive just about had enough of doing the hacking thing now as i took advice and now have a dead DVD machine nice just before christmas!

any help would be most appreciated

Oppo 983 is an awsome region free player. £379 from CRTProjectors.

Dont know much about it.
Cant be bad for a panasonic though

I tried the toshiba xde 500 hack on ours the other day and it worked fine, havnt tried any RCE discs yet though

Almost all players can be bought de-regioned from many retailers. On the high street, Superfi, Sony Centres, Shop@Panasonic and (perhaps best value) Richer Sounds (no doubt there are others) all sell branded machines as multi-region. As do most e-tailers. All you have to do is ask.

I recently bought the philips dvp5990 for 55 quid from amazon.. it needs a code to make it region free but the code is widely available and easy to do (just a bunch of numbers on the remote)... has worked fine for me and am able to play region 1 and 2 no probs
