Re: DVD Players & Dual Layered Discs

99% of all DVDs are dual layer.
If your player has problems, I think it is faulty.

Or do you mean DL DVD-R or DVD+R?

Re: DVD Players & Dual Layered Discs

There are many variables with burned discs: media, burning software, dvd burner, burning speed,...

The Pioneer should play the disc.
Is it finalised?

Yes

It plays back on my laptop but won't play in the DVD player

I used Alcohol 120 to burn the image took about 15 mins to do

The media I'm using is Zero Defex DL DVD's

Never heard of it, could be dodgy discs (what is the media code?).
Try to find some Verbatim discs (the best there is for cd and dvd).

Just wondering when burning DVD9 should you set the burn speed as Alcohol is normally set to automatic
