I recently purchased a new mini DVD player by Shinco from YesAsia.com
http://global.yesasia.com/en/prdDept...pid=1002843847
It's a small silver unit 200 x 260 x 78 mm with a lot of features for the money. (check link for full specs)
It's multi-region out of the box and supports 110v/230v, PAL/NTSC.
The main reason I bought it was for the progressive output to go with my AE-100 projector and it hasn't disappointed. Compared to my HCPC (1800xp+, Radeon, TheaterTek, M-Audio) the picture is virtually identical, the only exception I saw was some slight ghosting on the menu of one DVD but I think this was caused by me messing with the projector settings as the problem went away.
After currency conversions the cost was £80 including delivery (arrived about a week after shipping)
After a week or so of use I'm still impressed at the quality, both build and output.
Surely a candidate for best bargain DVD player?
