New DVD Player Advice

Hope someone can help please,I am after a dvd player for use in my kids playroom on a 8 yr old fergusen tv with 1 scart socket.I want to spend around 150.00.

Any recommendations,kids are 7 and 5.

I wouldn't even spend that much!

Something like a £50 supermarket jobbie will be better.

Do your kids destroy things? (mate's kid pours jam/pushed sandwiches into VCR slots!)

If it's for the kids and therefore you don't need it to be multi-region, top quality picture/sound etc then you'll be wasting money if you spend £150 - especially if used on a old TV (which probably doesn't have RGB in).

Therefore why not go for one of the cheap players available from Asda/Tesco/Safeway/Sainsburys. There not brilliant, they're not high quality BUT they are cheap and would probably suit your needs.
