Teac 350 system

Hi Guys,

Has anyone had any experience with the teac 350 DVD & Amp system? Richer sounds are doing them together for £299 and I think I should be having a look at it.

I'm just off to go and see a demo if possible now, but thought I would see if anyone has used it before?

Thanks

Thought it was £349 ? Is that a WHF ad ? How much have you seen the 550 for ?

Saw it on richer sounds website:

http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index....l.php&p=205924

I think that should get you there...

As for the 550, richer sounds have it for £399 (see link):

http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index....l.php&p=205925

By the way, what is a "WHF" ad?

Also, I went to have the 350 demonstrated to me after work today and the picture seems ok, but wasn't able to listen to it because they guy dropped the amp.

So, I still need to know what it is like because I watched the picture through a proj which wasn't set up properly and wasn't able to check out the sound because there was no sound

"What Hi-Fi"

The 350 was £349 about ten days ago so they've dropped the price (usually means they have none left whatsoever).

I would also be interested in anybodies opinion of the TEAC Reference 350, a mate from work (no internet access) is tossing up between the TEAC Reference 350 £299.95, or the Marantz SR4300 £199.95 with a Marantz DV4100 OSE £169.95 (all from RS). Personally I have been steering him towards the Marantz, but I have no experience of the TEAC, and would like to make sure I'm not steering him the wrong way.
