Where can I get my Sony S7700 serviced please?

Hi there,

I have had my Sony S7700 since June 99 and would like it to be serviced. I have used DVD cleaning disks but a few films I watch now seem to break up. I like this DVD player and don't really want to purchase a new one.

So I was wondering if there was somewhere that would do a quick turn around and give it a good clean inside etc and possibly a firmware upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary.

Gary,

I bought mine from Techtronics and I guess they do servicing.

Are you seeing problems with new discs as well? I've had LOTR break up on me recently.

Cheers,
Joel

I have watched 3 films this week and all brand new....all of them had the digital break up at some point in the film. If I put the lense cleaner in all is ok for a while but ends up back to break up after a while.

So I am hoping a service will sort it out.

Cheers,

Gary.
