963SA DD/DTS decoders?

Have been playing around with my 963 for the last 2 weeks and
I have to say the picture on my 6ft screen/AE100 is amazing....
but I am wondering has anybody tried using the onboard
decoders for films....I've noticed a little stutter when playing
DTS discs which drives my amp(Sony DB925) mad when trying
to decode.....apart from that the player is great.

Experimenting with 963 into my 2-Channel system, noticed when playing DTS tracks of music discs, as found on DVD-A of Hotel California, the first 1 or 2 seconds of tracks were muted.
Happily, after playing a few dozen various ordinary DVDs / CDs and trying it again it's now fine.
Sound quality using the internal decoders is excellent.
