Re: Pioneer DV 400

What USB sticks are you using. I've got a kingston and integral usb sticks and they both work.

Have you tried pressing the button on the front of the machine? to switch it to USB?

Re: Pioneer DV 400

It seems as if it might be the player at fault, is it easy for you to take it back to the shop and get it looked at?

What size are the usb sticks and do they have any software on them?

Re: Pioneer DV 400

Can't see it being the stick. I have used 3 diferent types on my DV600 with no problems. I also have a 20Gb fat 32 partition on my 320gb external hard drive and that works a treat. Swap the player, it must be at fault.

Re: Pioneer DV 400

I think it should be the player... I have only used small memory sticks (0.7 and 1 Gb). they don need any programm to play... in fact they play everywere.. thnks guys anywas.. tomorrow I am going to call the compagny (buyed on internet.. this is way I hesitated long before I send it back) and see what they tell...
