Marantz Dv7001- Help Please

I'm really new to all this. Connected my Marantz Dv7001 to Tv, works fine. I also have Denon DHT500Sd that i want to intergrate just as a reciever but how do i connect marantz Dvd to Denon for the audio.

Pretty simple. Buy a coaxial digital cable and connect it to the Audio input labelled "Video 1" on the back of the Denon. A good cable like the IXOS XHD-608 will suit the Marantz and outlive the Denon. You can find them online for less than retail. Good luck mate!

Why would the audio input be labelled 'Video 1', seems a bit strange to me.

You can connect the digtial coax ouptut from your DVD player to any of the digital coax inputs on the AV Receiver. Take a not e of which number input you connected the cable to and make sure that it is assigned to the DVD input on the receiver.
