Budget DVD Player that plays avi via USB to go with Tosh C3030DB?

Ok, so I've just ordered a Toshiba 32" 3030D and as this is my first tentative step into the world of HD and the like I need a little help choosing a suitable DVD player.

It's my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) that the Tosh 3030 does a reasonable job of upscaling, and I would probably be wasting my time and money buying an upscaling DVD player?

With that in mind, my main requirements are the ability to play avi files via USB, multi region (or easily hackable) and obviously reasonable picture quality. Budget is pretty poor I'm afraid, dont really want to spend more than £50.

Also, in terms of connectivity is a non upscaling player likely to have an HDMI socket, and if not I take it component would be the best way of connecting to the TV?

Thanks

Thanks, yep realised that after a bit of googling. I've gone for one, seems like a nice bit of kit for very little money
