| Another SD210e unwell, different problem
my tosh sd-210E seems to be playing up. i have no idea whats causing the problem.
I'm getting an extreamly loud POP when changing tracks, pausing, resuming, or when the menu loads up.
1) It seems to be a problems with muting.
2) It's also intermittant.
3) It mostly affects the front-right channel, but also can affect the left-front and sub (you have no idea how loud that pop is through the sub!).
4) It happens weather i'm using analogue or digital out.
5) It definatly the DVD player. I've tried different amps, different tv's, even different homes - didnt make a difference
6) Ive tried different earthing arrangments, but havnt found one that works, so im sure its not that.
It's out of warrenty, (not that that makes a difference, i took it back twice for repair but they didnt fix it). i am skilled with the soldering iron so i can attempt any repair (convensional or surface-mount if required)
Any ideas?
