| Member | Yamaha DVD-S1700 vs. Oppo DV-981HD
Oppo 981HD has been my number one choice and actually I have already ordered it. However, I initially eliminated Yamaha S1700 as an alternative as I thought it didn't have Scart (I have a 32" Sony CRT, going to buy Sony 40D3000 in Christmas). Unfortunately I had read the USA specs of Yamaha, and it turns out the EU-version does have Scart. As there is very little talk in AV Forums about Yamaha S1700 and respectively a lot about Oppo, I just wanted to get your opinion: which one would be better? |
