Question Considering NAD 571/572 DVD changer - advice?

Dropped into a top-end shop for a couple Car-audio upgrades, and noticed a *beautiful* NAD 5-disc changer....
CDN $ 999
Nearly a month's income for me, BUT(!) I want it.
CD/DVD/MP3 etc...Prog Scan etc.
Have access to HarmonKardon THX proc. to flush the setup, but want opinions on the new NAD stuff.
Been a NAD fan for probably 15 years or so, and this sems to be a component that will not be a "disposable" generation.
You know how every new 'thing' gets high-priced versions that seem to never pan out?
