Compatible with Tosh 2109?

Does someone know which of the +R, +RW and -R formats are compatible with the Toshiba 2109? This machine has always been a bit unpredictable for me, playing some (but not all) CD-Rs, and all CD-RWs!

That would help make my mind up which way to go - Philips or Panasonic.

I have a problem with mine to.

It plays all DVD's i chuck at it, including a our Wedding DVD.

Then 9 months ago we moved house and now it will not play our wedding DVD (which works on other machines), yet plays my DVD collection.

The solution...................its for sale !!!
