Philips DVP5980 or Sony NS76H

I am looking to get a DVD player for the next year or 2, for less than £100 & was wondering which of these two is the best regarding picture quality.
Philips DVP5980 or Sony NS76H
I will be connecting it to a Sony 40W2000. I am not worried about divx or jpegs or audio DVD's

Dunno about picture quality but with the NS76H you could take advantage of Sony's Theatre Sync funkiness.
