Thanks: Gave 10, Got 17 | where can I buy the 'OPPO DV-981HD' in UK?
Hi
I've decided after reading a few reviews to buy the Oppo instead of a Denon 1930 but I can't find a seller in UK, does anyone know where I can buy the Oppo in UK?

I thought I'd get a dvd player whilst i wait for my Spny 32' D3000 to turn up. Are you going to buy one? Plus do you have this Oppo? If so how would you rate it?

[I'm still actually considering the LXD700 too ]

Good point.. I dont want to invest in a HD DVD just in case it doesnt win plus both camps have limited libraries and are 3x the price of a dvd. Mmm I think the Oppo is the correct option for me.
Still pondering the Panasonic?! I weren't I've tested the 70 version which has a the same screen supposely and whilst the PQ is very good.. the blacks are AVERAGE. This was the sole reason why I didnt buy the Panasonic. That's why it was such a relief the D3000 come through with flying colours. I've been waiting to buy a HD set for ages. The Sony fits the bill perfectly for me, native 720p is what I wanted for 360 action and 1080i for movies.
I'll gonna order with JL when they have stock. £1080.

Why bother buying overseas when you can get the Oppo from CRT? CRT have a great reputation for service and support.

Will CRT honour the warranty?
