Upscaling DVD player over HDMI v X360 DVD playback on VGA

Guys,

I think the X360 DVD playback over VGA is distinctly average - I'm considering a budget upscaling DVD player instead to use over HDMI to my samsung LCD.

Would you expect an improvement using this method ?

well the asda dvd upscalling player is £29 my reason for getting it was the noise issue with the xbox 360.ive not really been able to see the difference in picture quality between them both but its much more enjoyable without that nasty fan noise in the quieter scenes.also the remote is much better than using the xbox controller.id say go for one and if you dont like it take it back as they have a 28 day satisfaction warranty.good luck
