marantz DV3001 V Sony DVPNS-76H

I've read a lot of good reviews here about the Sony DVPNS-76H upscaling DVD player. However, I am being offered a DV3001 as a replacement for a faulty Pioneer DV490. I was wondering should I just forget about the Marantz and get my money back for the Pioneer and buy a Sony DVPNS-76H instead.

Does anyone have any experience when comparing the DV3001 and the DVPNS-76H players?

Many thanks

Anybody?

I'm guessing that the Dv3001 is not popular, so I should steer clear of it?

Thanks

This is a very new model so no wonder not too many people have it yet.
