small cheap dvd player

Can anyone recommend a very small dvd player for a bedroom, Im not too bothered about quality at all as it won't be used much just nice to have. It would be good if it played dvdr discs too. Size is the most important thing, we have just bought a cheap lcd for the bedroom so dont want a big dvd player.

Any help would be great.

Connection for Video Output decide how small you can get. If Component Out is enough, than you can get at a size of Diary (many brands even locals brand you can get for this kind). If HDMI does matter, not many offer small size, Toshiba SD360E or Pioneer 696 does give very slim with good output.

Re: small cheap dvd player

Got this in the bedroom as a secondary player (multiregioned via a handset hack from this forum)Alba DVD62Xi. No HDMI but does progressive scan via component. Plays everything, no front panel display but on screen is fine, remote easy to use. Connected even by composite - only one scart on the back of my 21" TV/DVD/VCR. Cant help you with the price as I won it in a raffle but its got to be cheap. Ive always steered clear from the non main makes but got to say its been fine
