SD-360E free hdmi

Hi just to let you know i ordered one from play.com and it came with a free hdmi cable not bad for £69.99. Shame i didn't know as i wasted £33.99 on one, hope this saves someone some money.

Which lead did you 'waste' your money on? You may be able to sell it and gain a few quid back. So long as it's a 'proper' one, I may be interested. Please let me know.

Thank you.

Re: SD-360E free hdmi

Hi its a ixos Studio XHT288 lead which i set the player up with. I don't know how it compares with the freebie as it would be depressing to compare and find they are the same quality. Im going to keep it just because this way i have a spare lead for the Future but thanks for the interest

Re: SD-360E free hdmi

Hi Richard,

Sounds like a quality lead. You have to say that the lead they were giving away was probably of marginal quality (for it to be free). At least you can be confident that the lead you are using will not be the weakest link.

I have quality leads throughout and have always been very happy. My QED Sqart was a beautiful object - and will be used in my kitchen setup when I get my lcd tv and hdmi dvd player. Quality never goes out of fashion.

It's pointless spending large sums of cash on HDMI leads. Digital signals don't degrade like analogue ones do! Under 5m length, any old lead will do!

I don't have any Scart leads in use now, cheap HDMI rules!

I have an SD 360e too, good isn't it?

Hi Max,

I can't say whether it is good or not as it is being exchanged by Toshiba for a barnd new one - the old one had the freezing problem (it was a display model too). Plus I don't have an hdmi enabled tv (Currys yet to deliver it) and my hdmi lead had to go back because it was damaged.

I hope it is though
