Denons

I've had a Denon DVD-2900 for a few years, and it's great.

Unfortunately, no HDMI out.

In YE OLDE DAYES the general theory on new generation DVD players was that each new generation would see technology would 'trickle down' to the next price bracket. So, if Denon had price bands of £900, £650, and £250, then this year's £900 player would end up as next season's £650 player (with a few mods, of course).

Now, what I'm hoping for is that a Denon player as good as the 2900 is now available for £250, but with an HDMI output.

Wrong again?

Here's hoping!

Re: Denons

Cheers for the information, that's great.

But it's not just a question of "Does it have HDMI?".

Is it as good as the 2900? Are the chips & bits that were used in the 2900 now used in the 1930?

Cheers.

I've just rried to look up the spec for the 2900 and match them, and...
