Oppo 971 with HDMI

Hi folks, just wondered if any of you out there know if Oppo intend to produce a 971 (or similar spec machine) with HDMI output in the near future?

Apparently yes. Around September.

Though just adding HDMI on it's own is no big deal. But no doubt if they bring out a new model, it will have some tweaks in other areas too. That said, Oppo said the new model would have the same video processing chips, so it's likely there will be much difference PQ wise, if at all.

So if you are in the market for a player now, then you could do worse than buy a 971
