Philips DVP3005 - Is it any good?

Hey all,

I've been looking for a good DVD player for awhile. I'm not after anything fancy, all I really want is something that offers excellent RGB quality.

I've only ever previously used my PS2 to watch DVDs. My problem? well, I've noticed that the picture quality isn't very good after starting to watch anime with subtitles on, the subtitles look very untidy and sometimes hard on the eyes. Maybe I'm being a bit picky here... I'll blame it on watching anime with perfect subtitles on my PC for years!

As far RGB cables, does anyone have any suggestions? This one seems to be good...
