I have said machine and did have problems with RCE titles, but can work around them now I know how! Simply pop in the disc and press stop before the Region Map comes on. Then select 1 second and press play and the movie will play. There are other ways to watch certain extras, by chosing titles etc, but you may never be able to actally see the menu screens on some discs (shame)?

More info please!

Oh, it's called the 950E now!? Can you please tell me where you heard it would be out in 8 weeks, as I may see if it is worth trading in the 900E?

Cheers Kane

I rang toshiba and basically had a converstsaion along these lines:

Stewart: HI can I have some advice
Tech guy: sure
Stewart: Well I was thinking of buying a Toshiba
Tech guy: Great keeeps me inn a job
Stewart: Well, isn't the 900e the one to go for?
Tech guy: At the moment, yes
Stewart: So the rumours are true there isw an upgrade coming or a new model
Tech guy: fraid we can't dsay anymore at the moment
Stewart: Look mate, no offense but if you spent £1300 on a DVD player and they bought out anewer version a few weeks later you'd be pretty miffed.
Tech guy: Can you hold the lin a second?
Stewart: sure

Stewart waits... waits.... waits...
Stewart starts to think phone has gone dead but waits....

Tech guy: Hello?
Stewart: hi!

Tech guy: OK um... not supposed to say thisyet but there will be a Toshiba upgrade in April/May time. Details sketchy as of yet but it will be TOSHIBA 950E.
Stewart: OK, I wont tell anyone.
