Superb Dealer - ITSUPPLIES.NET

I'd just like to say what a superb dealer ITSUPPLIES.NET are.
https://www.itsupplies.net/

I ordered my Oppo DVD player from them a few weeks ago, and recieved promptly (as you would expect)

http://www.itsupplies.net/product_in...roducts_id=247

However, on opening up the box, I found the remote had a small mark on it (looked like was something done at the OPPO factory)

I emailed John at ITSUPPLIES and explained the situation.

He happily sent me out a brand new replacement remote straight away free of charge.

That's the sort of excellent service that will make me happy to buy from them again.

So, just wanted to let everyone know about the superb service I recieved from them.

Upscaling is fine.

I tried pulling in a newish (but low end) Toshiba DVD player from the other room to put onto my Hi-Def LCD and the Oppo was WAY better.

Honestly, on some DVD's it's like it's playing (what I could imagine) Hi-Def to look like.

The only downside of the player (for me) is the known about macroblocking which you see more than perhaps other players due to the Oppo's chipset (think the Denon's are the same in this respect)

Not having it set too bright and not sitting too close helps a lot, and in all honesty it's all down to the DVD's

On some DVD's it's terrible, on others it not noticable at all.

I've only actually just tried a home burned DVD the other day, and that was on a Verbatim 4x speed DVD-R and that plays ok.
More than that I can't say. But I feel this player probably is very good in this dept.

When you buy from ITSUPPLIES, does it come with both the DVI>HDMI cable, and the HDMI>HDMI cable? I was going to buy it from another place for £170, and I know they do it with both cables, they also apparantly deliver really fast. How quickly did the Oppo get delivered to you?

Yes it comes with both cables so long as you select dvi/hdmi cable option and takes a couple days delivery max
