pal progressive prob with my infocus

my player is ntsc progressive only ,has anyone a similar setup to mine.the prob i have is that on playing pal dvds through the projector i have vertical lines about 6 inches apart all the way from one side of the screen to the other i have tryed both my screens it does the same.but oddly this dosent happen on my plasma. could it be that interlaced through my infocus does do this and its normal? any help appreciated.

Have you tried turning off the progressive scan feature on your player when running PAL discs?
