New DVD player. Recommendations?
My trusty Pioneer 626-D is on the verge of being sold so that i can finally get round to watching the SVCDs i've got, but i want to get something that i'm not going to have to swap out again when i replace my crappy projector, i.e. progressive scan.
Any suggestions on what player i should go for? Don't want to spend £700 btw, something cheap-ish, but decent. I've heard too that Pioneer prog scan is not very good either, what's the story?
