Yamaha DTS Problem

I'm not sure if maybe this should be in the amp section. Hopefully someone will be able to tell me.

My HC includes a Yamaha S795 DVD player and a Yamaha 795a amplifier. I know, I know; it's very old. I have no trouble at all with most DTS DVD's but the two Queen ones that I have (Wembley and RotCs) exhibit fairly frequent, but short (not more than a second) dropouts in the audio. I've done numerous searches and I can't find anyone else moaning about the discs so it must be my setup. But then I can't find anyone moaning about the Yamaha kit either!

Does anyone know what might be responsible for the problems I'm having with these disks, or if there's anything I can do about it (hopefully short of replacing the hardware...)?

Thankyou.
