Best upscaling player for 37PF9830

Does anyone have any views on the best 'upscaling' DVD player for the Philips 37PF9830? I have been using a Samsung DVD-HD745 at 1080i, (the screen's native resolution), and whilst the pitcure was sharp, I thought it slightly noisy. My budget for a new player isn't that great (about £250), so I'm swaying towards the Denon 1920, or the Oppo 971. Has anyone any experience using any of these players with the 37PF9830- or any other players?

Thanks in advance.
