Question Best sub-£100 player?

Hi all

I'm looking for a cheap second (bedroom) DVD player - all I want is component out with PAL prog-scan and something that's easily hacked for multi-region.

I'm a bit out of touch with this end of the market - any ideas?

Cheers

People like the Limit player from play.com.

I'm not saying it's the best btw.

Pioneer 575 IMHO, it comes in black or silver colour, usually pre-hacked for MR.

Is it still available for sub £100? Richer put them up to £120.

Also I'd imagine it would be very difficult to find a black one now unless a 2nd hand one became available.

Might be worth asking in your local Richer Sounds. They are up to £120, but they kindly sold me one that had been out on trial and therefore open boxed for £100.
Great machine, but I had a bit of a fright after doing a reset (to put it back to factory settings) and then lost the picture. Had to connect the video jack and then change the settings to RGB output so it would work through the scart!).

Thanks for your comments folks.

After trawling through some old threads here, I've gone for the Limit 900SE as it's currently a steal (and in stock) at £49.99 from Play.com

Thanks for the replies.
