Panny S75 problem - help needed

Hi folks

My Panny S75 has developed a problem.... it plays fine but I'm unable to use any of the functions of the remote control. I tried a replacement remote control and again no luck.

I know there is no fault with the IR sensor on the DVD player itself because my Panny TV remote allows me to control the basic functions e.g. power, play etc

Any advice please because its a lovely little player - still perfect for all my needs. (along with my panny E95 DVD recorder)
